The economy has dealt us all a blow and almost everyone has had to make some type of change in the way they live. Happy thanksgiving, have a great day.Bettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06542630961460592815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611727753197422712.post-41760321431838903882009-11-25T03:02:23.988-06:002009-11-25T03:02:23.988-06:00I could not agree more...the lesson today is not t...I could not agree more...the lesson today is not that we are poor of "things" we are poor of morals, values, ethics. This is what is so different from years past, we possibly have lost ourselves somewhere in between. IN a world of faster, quicker, cheaper, we possibly don't value the most cherished of all...memories and moments that we create with those around us...
blessings to you my dear madame samm http://sewdollswhosnext.blopgspot.comSparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456305568995973018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611727753197422712.post-70823500884835609342009-11-25T03:00:12.050-06:002009-11-25T03:00:12.050-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456305568995973018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611727753197422712.post-19252904594552015752009-11-25T02:27:41.349-06:002009-11-25T02:27:41.349-06:00Typos... inestimable and his instead of this. I was thinking the other day how in the Deep South, quite possibly because so many people were impoverished after the Civil War, that the measure of a man was more important than this pocket book. To that end, I always thought that my grandmother who was widowed and actually on a very strict budget was the richest person alive, and she was because she was rich in love and happiness. Her wealth was her family and friends and above all else, her faith in the Lord. She also enjoyed good health and a happy disposition and was ever grateful for her blessings.

I am grateful for my material blessings, but I am most grateful for the same things for which Granny was grateful. You can't put a price on that. Its worth is intestimable.

XO,

Sheila :-)The Quintessential Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010105595059019883noreply@blogger.com
