Baby It's Cold Outside

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
I know all you gals in the north, northwest and east laugh at us and think we are woosies
But...........we just ain't used to this type stuff down here in the sunny south.

Schools closed, all public offices, folks driving like Andretti posessed.
Soup lines in the grocery stores like it was in preparing for Y2K. Crazy.

And heck we don't even have anything white on the ground. Ok it may get nasty. Granted before the day is over the roads may be slick. The temps here now hover right above freezing and are due to recede throughout the day with tonight and tomorrows lows in the single digits. Yep I don't care what part of the world you live in. Baby that is Cold!

I am getting ready for my trip to Arkansas and must study some new tax stuff today but boy if I didn't have that to do, Mizmollye would curl up in something made of flannel with a big cuppa and watch my recorded soap. You know the one..where all the folks live in Genoa City and most of them are very young and very restless. Yep that's the one. Gotta luv it! Then I would probably wander into the art studio and create something quirky and fun. And I might find something completely out of line with my new trying ever so hard dieting regime like a pbj sandwich or maybe some chips and dips. Yum.

And from there I might read a good book or Crochet some new fingerless gloves. I dearly love those gloves and a beret to match.

How bout you..............What are you going to be doing to forget the frigid temps and feel cozy today?

  1. Freezing! I hate it! Of course freezing to me is 50 degrees, but it has gone down into the 30's at night and early monring. My Florida wardrobe and I are not a fan of cold weather! Sandals and cold are not friends!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

P.S. Mollye, the snow on your blog is slowing typing to a crawl. That has happened to three of my other blogger friends (BJ, Gloria, and Sue). One of them thought she was going to have to take her computer in for service. It's because it takes a lot of juice to run the snow. Just thought I'd let you know because it's hard to type with it snowing. LOL! See... another reason I hate cold weather! ;-)

  2. Hello Mollye,
I know what you mean about this cold....burrrrrrr!
So much for living here on the so called sunny coast. It has been in the low 30's during the day and 20's at night. Anything below 55 is freezing to us!
Now, you gone and made me want a p-nut b&j sandwich, some chips and some sweet tea!

    See you later.
