SO HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR SPAM?

SPAM; how in the heck did the word come to mean "junk", unwanted and unsolicitated electronically generated mail?????????????????

To me the word SPAM has always and will always spell this..........
and this
and even this..............

cause I'm just a Spam kinda gal.

I like it with Bacon...like it Hickory Smoked

Luv it with eggs for breakfast

And though not my fave even like it like this

this an old fave from the 60's was then quite a hit
and for a last minute party tray you could rely on this
But my very favorite and most satisfying way of enjoying this treat is the all American sandwich

When I was pregnant with my first child I had a fierce craving for salty foods and nothing satisfied me quite like Spam so I consumed a can a day! Yep you read this right one entire can and well needless to say it was quite bad for me and the unborn babe as I developed toxemia and became quite ill with much danger for the baby but I did have a healthy baby thanks be to God and lost my intense craving for Spam. But occiasionally I enjoy a Spam sandwich not cooked, and not cold ... just right out of the can.

So how in the world do you like yours?

  2. I'm a vegetarian, and the idea of spam is the same as junk mail: delete it, don't consume it.

However, I love all the old photos of spam.

  6. You're not going to believe I'm Southern when I tell you this and you might even find this unconstitutional, Mollye, but I don't know that I've had it. I think I tried it once and didn't like it. But I can't remember. LOL! HELP! What does that say about me???

    XO,

  7. When I was a kid we used to fry the spam and eat it with mustard on bread. It tasted great.

  8. Even though I'm not a SPAM fan, I have to admit those eggs look awfully good with it. I've not ever seen the hickory-flavored SPAM. Hmmm.....
