ORANGE

O-R-A-N-G-E ..... The Theme for our August ATC Swap with Blissful ATC'S

This is the card I created for my swap partner, Mya

First I cut out my card from an empty box of crackers then covered it with gesso. Then after drying I covered it with a paper party napkin with a border and let dry and then sponged some inks all over to give it the slightly brown, yellow and orange look, then stamped on some Chinese characters with black Staz-On ink. Stamped the man in the moon image on and gave him a little crown of found objects, then put a little caption on with glue and glued on an image of a fish found in a catalog and lastly melted a red crayon and ran it randomly down the card. I finished the card with a layer of Mod Podge and that was that! Oh yes I gave the fish a beaded eye of bling-bling in orange!

And this is the card my partner Mya sent me. I love the sleek lines and crispness along with her choice of vivid colors. Every layer is meticulously cut out and applied separately. If you want to see how she created her card you will have to visit her site and all the sites are listed on Blissful ATC's. I think you will be surprised at the art and this is such a nice group of ladies. Go pop on over and read about our monthly swaps. What are you waiting for C'mon you'll love it!

  4. Another pair of great looking cards. All the cutting and pasting you girls did. Mollye your mind runs in a wild place when you create your ATCs. Who would think of melting crayon and adding a fish with a beaded eye. I wonder of the things you must dream.
