So imagine my great surprise last night when I sat down to this computer in sheer boredom and clicked on the photo program I had installed months ago ( I found it lying around several years ago and I'm sure it is one of the first ever to hit the market) but have not tried to learn how to do more than putting frames around images but I clicked here and clicked there, a little brush stoke there and some of this and some of that and before you knew it I had not one, not two but three little Digital Surprises that could be loosely referred to as "Digital Art". Maybe :)
This one was fun because now I can print it and do some words in crosswords fashion and then scan it and use it as an ATC or something.
I am not sure I really care too much for this one but I adore the colors although I could not begin to explain how I made it and it seems to have no relevance, but I couldn't figure out how to remove the birdcage girl.
And as usual I always save the thing I like most for the last. I was truly amazed at how quickly I completed this one and can actually remember how I achieved the look. I think I have figured this out.........ALL digital art regardless of how experienced the artist and how familiar you are with your program is going to come out somewhat a surprise. Right? Is this part of the fun of digitals? It was for me, but I'm a digi newbie.
Wow. I love these, absolutely love them. Make me want to create my own accidental art, but none of my accidents have looked so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh these are so good! love them, never tried digi art - yet! I have done stained glass and the soldering is quite hard! What a wonderful word serendipity is! Suzie. :)
ReplyDeleteThese turned out great. I love playing around with digital art and seeing all the different things you can come up with. And for me, its really relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI love these. I think they are so moving; maybe the less you know about the software the more creative you CAN be. Because these are t-riffic !
ReplyDeletecool, Mollye.....I've always wanted to try digi stuff, but just haven't had the where with all to do so....your pics look fantastic! Bet it was loads of fun....endless possibilities. Thanks for sharing!
