Today The Pink Saturday Bloggers are going to be sharing with you one of our most special holiday memories and I have so many great Christmas Memories that it was hard for me to think of just one.
But the one that I remember as being MEMORABLE and UNUSUAL is truly a mollyedoozey christmas memory!
'twas the night before Christmas and the cards had been sent.....
the lights were hung with care, not a single wire was bent...................
And the tree....... a stately beauty like none I've ever seen...graced our humble home and we all squealed with glee...
Santa had come in the middle of the night and left what I'd wished for. Pink Mary Janes that fit just right sitting there for me under our beautiful Christmas Tree...
But Sis Floozeydoozey no where to be found had taken her bad self and headed for town. What a hoot she was with her pink fuzzy boots while the folks on the bus remained quite in shock...
the officers came and cuffed her real tight. They drove her back home not stopping to knock. Ma was in tears and Pa had a fit. The girl was a mess ... they called her a twit. She was taken away to the station down town..........
She never bothered to even give us a ring until they let her out to finally come home. Christmas was past and it was already Spring. Our Pink Flamingo had replaced the Bright Lights, Snow and Christmas Tunes....
and the only Tree to be found was the Pink Wisteria in full wonderous bloom!
