MORE THAN JUST A GAME

Yes...So much more for the people of Louisiana than "Just a Game".

For the New Orleans Saints to be going to the Super Bowl does not mean than Hell has frozen over.
It is a re-building of our state. A re-building of the spirit of those who were affected most from the devastation of Katrina and it means that the days of hope, expectation, disappointment, embarassment and shame with having to eat our words, grab another slice of Humble Pie, and listen to all the jeers and hurtful remarks about us and our heritage are gone.

We have new neighbors who understand

A winner has emerged.
Prayers have been lifted to St. Jude the Patron Saint of desperate measures.

We are celebrating in the streets, in the offices, at the grocery and in our hearts.

Who Dat indeed.

  1. Go Saints!!! I love football now but when I was growing up and wanted to be the first female player in the NFL, I REALLY loved football. For some reason, the Saints were one of "my" teams...think I felt bad for them in those days:-) Anyway, I am soooo happy they are in the Superbowl. Been a long time coming and you deserve this!!!!!
P.S Love your Valentine's look too!
