WE'LL MISS YOU DIXIE

We have to say Good-bye to another lady we grew to love over the years. The death of Dixie Carter is coming to the end of an era of so sweet sugar wouldn't melt in your mouth deliciously and a little naughty unique Southern Belles.

Julia Sugarbaker was one of a kind. Dixie Carter....one of a kind.

She and husband Hal Holbrook always seemed to personify a mature, strong and so bonded marriage. You could look at either one of them and they seemed to be so proud of the other with eyes for no one else. What a rarity in Hollywood. Or anywhere for that matter!

So long Dixie and until we meet face to face, sista to sista one day...Thanks for the memories, the bit of sass and the laughs and the southern love!

  4. I, too, loved Dixie Carter. You say her name and you knew immediately who she was.....Julia Sugarbaker!!!!

In answer to your question about my oval backgrounds on my photos: this photo app came my Mac computer. My sweet hubby bought me a new computer this Christmas and the new Mac's have really upgraded their I-Photo programs.

    Hope that helps.

    Blessings,

    Jo

Thank you for stopping by my place last week and
thank you for your prayers regarding my mom. She had the "cement" procedure done today. It looks good so far. Time will tell.

    Take care,
