FRIDAY FUNNIES

IT'S FRIDAY! Wheeeeeeeeeee...(sourced from the internet)

This is a picture of my sister-in-law Mary and my daughter-in-law Jessica taken at Jake's gravesite service.

I really couldn't think of anything to write about today but was missing you! So just in the nick of time my little sister-in-law Mary sent me some email funnies so heres one I just have to share with you!

No one believes seniors . . . everyone thinks they are senile.

An elderly couple was celebrating their sixtieth anniversary. The couple had married as childhood sweethearts and had moved back to their old neighborhood after they retired. Holding hands, they walked back to their old school. It was not locked, so they entered, and found the old desk theyd shared, where Andy had carved I love you, Sally .

On their way back home, a bag of money fell out of an armored car, practically landing at their feet. Sally quickly picked it up and, not sure what to do with it, they took it home. There, she counted the money-fifty thousand dollars! Andy said, Weve got to give it back. Sally said, Finders keepers. She put the money back in the bag and hid it in their attic.

The next day, two police officers were canvassing the neighborhood looking for the money, and knocked on their door. Pardon me, did either of you find a bag that fell out of an armored car yesterday? Sally said, No. Andy said, Shes lying. She hid it up in the attic. Sally said, Dont believe him, he's getting senile.

The agents turned to Andy and began to question him. One said: Tell us the story from the beginning. Andy said, Well, when Sally and I were walking home from school yesterday .... The first police officer turned to his partner and said, We're outta here!

Gotta luv it.....Hope all of y'all have a wonderful weekend and try to stay cool!

  5. GOOD MORNING MOLLYE,
WE WILL NEVER STOP MISSING THEM MOLLYE, BECAUSE A MOTHERS HEART STRINGS CAN NEVER BE SEVERED....JAKE HAS BEEN GONE JUST A SHORT TIME. I KNOW YOU KNOW THEIR ARE 5 STAGES OF GRIEF AND I THINK YOU ARE EXPECTING TOO MUCH OUT OF YOUR SELF MOLLYE, TOO SOON. YOU ARE VERY BRAVE, YOU ARE INVOLVED IN MANY THINGS AND YOUR ATTITUDE IS WONDERFUL BUT GRIEF STILL KNOCKS AT YOUR DOOR. IT IS OKAY TO SHARE YOUR FEELINGS. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY EVERY DAY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS.
I LOVED YOUR FUNNY STORY AND THAT BABY WAS JUST TOO ADORABLE FOR WORDS.
    KEEP WRITING AND CREATING MOLLYE.
    LOVE YOU

  8. That was funny, I can just picture it. I have a 95 year old Grandmother that could play that game with the police. She is supposed to take some medicine and occasionally decides she won't. My Mother threatens to call the police if, she won't take it. My Grandmother takes it right away, she doesn't want the police to come.

  10. That baby's a crack up!

And the story was funny on two levels--the obvious funny-story one, and the "elderly at SIXTY?!!" one! Oh, my. I think I'll hobble to bed now, if I can just find my cane and remember where I'm supposed to put my teeth!

    Loving you, as usual.
