GRATITUDE
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" Matthew 5:4
Though my heart feels broken with losing my son Jake, God is doing mighty things in my life as I trust Him and learn to trust Him more. The closer I am to God the closer I am to my son.
In my road to recovery we're encouraged to always keep a journal whether written or in our minds of what we are grateful for. What a powerful God we have that in the midst of losing a child we can feel grateful for anything. Awesome!
For each of you who visit know that your name is in my Gratitude Journal.
Have a wonderful Thursday and I love you. mizmollye and Punkin too!

Oh Mizmollye! I can't believe how close we can all feel with others we have never met! This song was one I used on a DVD I made for my Niece's Dad's memorial service:) Love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day my friend, I am grateful for YOU! You will be forever in my prayers and Buddy too! HUGS!
Mollye, I am so grateful that I met YOU through this wonderful invention called blogging! You are an inspiration to me and I'm pretty sure to everyone else who reads your posts. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteWe all have crosses to bear & sometimes it seems so over whelming. At times it is so hard to feel gratitude for anything.
ReplyDeleteI feel we were all brought together in Blogging because the Good Lord knew that we would "need" each other in some way!
I am oh so grateful for my blogging friends!!
Love,
Marilyn
Mollye you are so special. I know this has been so hard for you but to find peace and gratitude is a healing thing. Love to you.

Good Morning Mollye Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteI knew almost a year ago now when I met you, that you were something special. I have thanked God for you my blogging friend. You bring such joy to me through your writings. God puts people in our lives at the right time, as he can see down the road. I am holding you up in prayer each day sweet friend.
Moma said to me once, that when someone passes, "You never get over it, you learn through God to live with it." I didn't quite understand it at that time, but I have over the years.
I continue to pray for you sweetie. Pray that you find peace in your life. Keep writing in your journal. Go outside and breathe the air, smell the flowers and continue to walk through each day for Jake. I know he is right there holding your hand.
I love you sweet Mollye. Many hugs and SO much love to you. Thank you for being a friend. Love, Sherry
Well Mollye - keep on keeping that grateful journal - I know from personal experience it WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
ReplyDeleteWe are grateful to know you - now is your time to need us - and someday it might be our time to need you. That is friendship.
Love you.
