  2. Gentleness is a word that unfortunately is not observed much these days. I think the word now is intensity. Too bad.....I like gentleness & comfort.

  6. Such a lovely reminder. I do cherish gentleness when it's shown, but seeing and reading this reminded me that gentleness needs to come From me, too!

Thinking of you everyday, and sending love,

  11. well Miz M, You are being productive. You are writing away. I enjoyed your safaris story and the story about your eldest son and his family. I was also interested to hear about your bout with alcohol. I cannot drink myself. One tenth of a bottle of wine cooler and I start feeling drowsy. I have no head for it all. When others around me are having a good time tippling away, I am ready to lie down and snore so I don't drink much. My ex used to drink though. Boy he was a doozy (shaking my head). I am glad you found the strength to stop. I am afraid he never will.

  12. The message in your post today is just so true.

There's a blog I've been reading for sometime now. The blogger, Debbie, lost a daughter awhile ago. Her post today is about a book I thought you might be interested in. It was written by a mother who lost a very young daughter. Not the same circumstances as Debbie or yourself, but one of a mother's loss. Here's the link to Debbie's post: http://iamsimplydebbie.blogspot.com/2010/07/book-you-must-read-why-my-child-lord.html
